Sampei Omichi

Welcome to a little piece of my brain.

I’m the Founder & CEO of Ellis where we are building the migration infrastructure for one billion Americans.

I am a native of Saigon, Vietnam with a Japanese father and a Vietnamese mother. I spent the first 17 years of my life attending an international school, surrounded by a diaspora of Western influences and diverse cultures.

In 2017, I unrooted my life and moved half way across the world to Boston where I experienced my first real winter.

I now spend most of my time between Saigon, Santa Teresa, San Francisco, and Brooklyn.
